could devour while cuddled up next to the electric stove on a cool coastal evening. To the left of
the home’s entrance, there’s a breakfast bar for two that looks into the well-appointed, compact
kitchen. The kitchen features a gas range, dishwasher, coffee bar, kettle, microwave and plenty
of supplies for putting together a tasty meal after a relaxing day wandering the beach.
The kitchen window looks out over the stunning backyard, where you’ll surely find yourself
welcoming the day with coffee or winding down with a glass of wine. Off a short hallway beyond
the kitchen, the back door welcomes you onto a sunny deck where you’ll find a gas grill and a
pair of chairs nestled around a small gas firepit. The decks spills into a lovely garden-style
backyard adorned with fountains, benches and archways; as well as the perfect balance of open
spaces where you can walk barefoot in the soft grass and thoughtfully maintained shrubs and
trees where flowers burst into color throughout the summer.
Across the hallway from the back door, you’ll find the home’s bathroom, which features a large
vanity and plenty of room to get ready before or after hiking a trail or exploring the galleries
downtown. At the end of the hallway, there’s a living room with a large couch and recliner where
four adults could settle in for a round of games or a movie on the large television.
Back through the house and just off the breakfast nook is the cozy bedroom, where a queen-
sized bed offers the perfect spot to drift off to dream of the next day’s adventures. The room
features plenty of closets where you can tuck your things out of the way and also offers access
to the laundry room, which means you can warm up your favorite hoodie in the dryer before
heading out for a cool beach walk with your morning coffee.
With its proximity to a more quiet section of beach, nearby access to Cannon Beach’s
downtown and absolute fairytale of a garden, this little beach cottage makes the perfect spot for
a peaceful retreat for one person or a romantic getaway for a couple.
